Maya's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree attained from Central Michigan University, followed by a Juris Doctor Degree later attained from Florida A&M University College of Law. Where she refined her legal skills and deepened her understanding of the field.
As a dedicated legal professional, Maya holds a license to practice law in the State of Michigan. Beyond her daily practice, she actively engages with the legal community as a member of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, and frequently volunteers her time to serve the community.
